Elec Bolt

Main skill that you learn and will be using for the most of the game

Rejuvenation

Your first heal, not too strong but does give HoT

(this is mainly based on whether you think you will use the skill or not so no recommendation but at least 1 as a filler)

Tip
1)Rejuvination.. Depending on your mind value, this skill at lvl 1 can still give a good hot. Keep in mind though if you're mainly a solo player and assuming you go Tempest, this can be a life saver to pre cast before aoes if you get laggy.


Ion shield

Gives low short and long range defense good for the class but only a filler

Lvl 10

Elec Twister

Affects more than one enemy but a waste of a skill point in my opinion not used by most Pro templars
maybe get it as a filler for lvl 30 skill

Tip
2) Elec. Twister is a great way to un-stealth and dot a sin / rogue so they can't re-stealth for a while, keeping their sneaky asses visible.


Concentration

average skill can help with MP recovery not recommended but once again a choice of whether to get it but not needed at greater than 5

Lvl 20

Charged bolt

once again a main skill you will be using and has small DoT not too high if your thinking you wont use it

Lesser Heal



Your main heal which is quite a good skill to get because can heal 1k hp later on

(add DNA to casting time to make it insta cast so you can heal whilst running)

Divine Protection

Gives you more Short range Defense but no long range defense can also be used on others

Lvl 30

Elec Shock

Fires a bolt which can affect 4 targets and give DoT
(cast time 1 second)

Lvl 40 skills

A few things...

1. Elec. Twister is a great way to un-stealth and dot a sin / rogue so they can't re-stealth for a while, keeping their sneaky asses visible.

4. Electric Shock is crap.

5. All level 40 skills are crap except sleep and curse res. I would leave curse res for last being as you need to lvl before you can pvp decently. Holy bolt is up to your play style, but it has a cast time and honestly... who the hell is going to live through aoes and bolt spam anyway...


6. My thoughts on devine protection are simple. Pick a role, support or damage. If you're going Tempest you wont need it to be honest. You can make up for the defense via SvS costume which is not hard to get and gives you precious hp too. This will free up a minimum of 11 points ( filler and max DP ).

Last of all I would like to comment on the lvl 40 hp and mp regen % skills. A good thing to think about is that they do not work while in combat. So this means just use a pot. Pots are not expensive and if you're using a costume while grinding you will notice a huge diff in mana usage and being able to keep healed and drop dmg.
